BLB Members Agreement

Terms and conditions of membership with Bush Life Balance

Privacy Assurance

Members' personal details are for internal use only. However, Bush Life Balance and/or its members will not be held liable for any privacy breaches. Members uncomfortable with third-party website data storage can request hard copies for offline participation.

Membership Pathway

Membership begins with a $5.00 AUD yearly subscription payment and agreement to these terms. Membership is established for a minimum of 12 months. Resignation requires 21 days' written notice before renewal date.

Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure

Membership is conditional on sighting, agreeing to, and signing a self-executing Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Members are privy to confidential information and agree to uphold strict confidentiality regarding all association matters.

Waiver of Responsibility

Bush Life Balance does not give legal advice. It functions as an education platform and resource only. The association and its team are not responsible for personal decisions or actions taken by members.

Participation in any activities involves significant risks. Bush Life Balance, its team, facilitators and members are NOT responsible for ANY damages, harm, injury, loss or death which may occur. Members are solely responsible for their own health and safety.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

  • No Refund Policy: A strict no-refund policy applies to all services, products, and donations.
  • Cancellation Fee: A 50% cancellation fee is charged for bookings cancelled within 24 hours. No-shows receive no refund.
  • Payment Terms: Payment is required within 24 hours of booking to confirm an appointment or service.
  • Donations: All donations are non-refundable and are to be used for the project specified by the donor. If unspecified, BLB reserves the right to allocate the funds.

Private Space Agreement

This governs the use of physical facilities. It is not a commercial rental agreement. Rules include:

  • Use the space respectfully and leave it clean
  • Access is only permitted with a booking or prior written consent
  • Specific areas are off-limits (e.g., house area)
  • Parking is restricted to designated areas
  • A 10km/h speed limit applies on the main drive
  • No drugs or alcohol are to be brought or consumed onsite
  • Closed-in shoes must be worn at all times

Acknowledgment & Agreement

Finalizing the membership payment affirms comprehension and acceptance of all terms, including waivers and the NDA. A digital signature or acknowledgment carries the same liability as a wet ink signature.
